    Biography

    Ahmad is the head of the Transportation sector at OSP and has over 19 years of experience in the energy sector. Prior to joining OSP, he worked in downstream at Saudi Aramco for 16 years.
    He started as an Operation Engineer in Jeddah & Yanbu Refinery and worked as a Planning Engineer in the company’s Oil Supply Planning & Scheduling Department. In 2010, he was assigned to lead the Aromatics plant project in SATORP “Saudi Aramco Total Refining & Petrochemical Company” giga project to build a world-class refinery in Jubail.
    After the completion of the project, Ahmad was relocated to Beijing to work as a Portfolio Manger overseeing Aramco’s investment in China including Refining & Distribution JVs before his return to Saudi to lead the Business Development team to establish the company’s retail business and the kingdom.
    In 2022, Ahmad joined OSP, where he leads the team to execute the Program’s Transportation sector’s initiatives.

With over 25 years of leadership experience across Asia Pacific, Alan has built a career at the intersection of technology, robotics, and smart city innovation.

    At QuikBot, he leads a team transforming urban logistics through AI, robotics, IoT, and cloud infrastructure—powering smarter, greener cities. The company has secured partnerships with FedEx, SingPost, and Aramex, with commercial deployments in Singapore, the UAE, and Japan, and upcoming rollouts in Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and Australia/New Zealand.

    Alan previously scaled StarMedia International Group into a 14-city enterprise and founded CareStar Robotics, delivering AI-driven robotics to healthcare and hospitality sectors. A recipient of the Golden Key Award, he holds a degree in Economics from Monash University and frequently speaks on autonomous systems, last-mile delivery, and the future of smart cities.

In addition to my corporate experience, I also managed my own company in the e-commerce sector, gaining experience in both B2C and C2C fields.
    I have a wide network of connections, particularly with e-commerce operators worldwide, and have a proven track record of developing operational and alternative routing options to meet their needs.

    Choo Pin ANG is FedEx’s Chief – Government Affairs – Asia Pacific. In this role, he spearheads FedEx’s governmental affairs and public policy strategy, and helps the company manage regulatory and business risks, forge partnerships with governments and identify business opportunities.

    Choo Pin was previously Expedia Group’s Managing Director for Asia looking after Government & Corporate Affairs for APAC, Middle East and Africa.

    He has served several stints as Chair of the Asia Internet Coalition (www.aicasia.org/about) and is currently co-chair of the US ASEAN Business Council Transport and Logistics committee.

    Choo Pin has extensive experience in political and economic issues across Asia. He previously headed the China operations of a New-York based investment advisory firm, before joining Standard Chartered Bank as its Head of Public Affairs. Before that, he served as a diplomat in Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs where he was Singapore’s Deputy Consul-General to Shanghai.
