Lars Baeumann is an industry veteran with more than 40 years’ experience in the automotive industry in Germany, Mexico and the Slovak Republic, mostly in leading roles for the Volkswagen Group in production, logistics and IT.
This included the IT responsibility for production, logistics and plants worldwide. Since 2024 Lars Bäumann is located in Kuala Lumpur, where he is Representative SouthEastAsia of BVL The Supply Chain Network.
As one of the first logistics pioneers in China, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dianjun Fang began his academic career at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics (Fraunhofer IML) in 1988. He has worked in industrial research for many well-known companies, including Audi, BMW, Bosch, Bayer, Siemens, and VW. In 1995, he received his doctorate from TU Dortmund University with a thesis on “Development of a knowledge-based assistance system for the planning of warehouse systems.” As a project manager, Prof. Fang has led numerous industrial projects in China for Fraunhofer IML, including projects for Huawei, Haier, Foton, Cummins, JD, China Tobacco, Damon, and i-COW.
In 2010, Prof. Fang was appointed Professor of Technical Logistics at Tongji University in Shanghai. Until 2021 he headed the Chair of Technical Logistics. Since 2022, he has held the Chair of Smart Engineering. He supports German-Chinese cooperation through numerous honorary roles, including Representative of Fraunhofer IML in China, Chairperson of the Shanghai Regional Group

Mr. Nguyen Duy Minh is a distinguished leader in Vietnam’s logistics sector, with proven expertise spanning strategic development, association leadership, and corporate management. Mr. Minh was appointed Vice President of VLA in 2024. Under his leadership, VLA has further expanded its membership base and strengthened its international standing, culminating in his election as Chairman Elect of FIATA RAP, a position he will officially assume after FWC 2025. He has worked closely with airport operators, government agencies, MROs, OEMs, and tech providers on market entry, growth strategies, and technology roadmaps. Dr. Nick Chapman is a supply chain risk management professional with 13 years’ experience, gained in major cargo loss investigation, as well as marine risk consulting, underwriting and broking, on the ground in almost 55 countries.
As the Head of Cargo and Logistics Asia at Aon, Nick is responsible for the retention, growth and strategic direction of this portfolio in Asia. He regularly consults with businesses to identify, understand and manage exposure and risk across their global supply chain.
Nick has an IRM certificate in Supply Chain Risk Management, is a Member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology and a member of the Transport Incident System working group at Transported Asset Protection Association APAC.

Yann Barbarroux is the CEO and Co-Founder of Otonomi. Otonomi is a parametric cargo insurance platform that supercharges operations with 3 proprietary technologies: decentralized oracle API triggers, claim automation via smart contracts, and algorithmic underwriting risk analytics.
Before founding Otonomi, Yann has been navigating the fascinating tech, capital markets and risk management sectors with recent focus on digital assets, algorithmic trading, and decentralized economics, in Wall Street. Esther joined the Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group in 2012 and has held several positions in Singapore and overseas in both SilkAir and SIA.
She currently holds the position of Senior Manager Sustainability at Singapore Airlines and heads the Environment team within SIA’s Sustainability Office. As part of her portfolio, Esther oversees SIA’s efforts in the adoption of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA), the European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) and the United Kingdom Emissions Trading System (UK ETS) compliance matters, and its voluntary carbon offset programme.
Sharmine leads Boeing’s aviation decarbonization strategies in Southeast Asia to advance sustainable aerospace through policy, strategic partnerships and technology innovation. She drives aviation climate policies that accelerates Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF), and actively engages on public policy issues in the areas of aviation environmental policies, national climate policies, and sustainability disclosure developments.
Sharmine also serves as Co-chair of the American Chamber of Commerce Singapore, Sustainability and Environment Committee. With over a decade of experience, Sharmine was formerly Sustainability lead at the Singapore Environment Council and NUS Centre for Governance and Sustainability.
Sharmine holds a Masters in Environmental Management from the National University of Singapore. She was conferred a scholar and valedictorian from the University of Queensland, Australia where she graduated with a Bachelor in International Hotel and Tourism Management (1st class honor), specializing in sustainable tourism.

Fabiano Piccinno holds a PhD in Sustainable Chemistry from the University of Zurich and joined Kühne+Nagel in 2022, to globally lead all sustainability topics for air logistics. He is responsible for the sustainability strategy, the emissions measurement as well as the SAF program. With his global team they developed a comprehensive carrier engagement program as well as work on new solutions for customers. Fabiano has over 10 years of experience working in sustainability. Starting at Empa, the Swiss Federal Laboratories of Materials Science and Technology , developing prospective lifecycle assessment (LCA) methodologies for new chemical products, he later joined the corporate sustainability team of the Swiss Federal Railways where he advanced the climate strategy, emissions calculation and circular economy for 4.5 years.
Dr. Andrew Staples is the Founder and Principal of GeoPol Asia, a boutique advisory service operating at the intersection of geopolitics, business, and strategy. Andrew established GeoPol Asia in 2024 following a career spanning three decades in Asia with The Economist Group and as a business school professor. Chris Humphrey is a Business Development and Government Relations professional with over 20 years of experience running business units throughout Asia, and over 30 years of experience of either working for or dealing with Governments and regulatory authorities. Chris began his varied professional career as a UK Civil Servant where, amongst other things, he was a Private Secretary to a Minister and an Air Services Trade Negotiator covering the Asia Pacific Region. After leaving Government, Chris moved to the private sector working initially in the Government and external relations teams at two British airlines, before moving to Shanghai, China with Virgin Atlantic where he headed up the airline’s China operation and oversaw the rapid expansion of their business in China. Whilst in Shanghai, Chris also sat on the Executive Committee of the British Chamber of Commerce. After a short spell in Hong Kong with Virgin, Chris then joined a UK based security and defence group where he led their Asia Pacific team for over five years and was instrumental in them getting contracts with the Japanese and Singapore Governments and also with SOEs in China.
